Ghent-based multi-instrumentalist and composer Dijf Sanders creates immersive sonic worlds where electronic music, improvisation and field recordings come together. Inspired by travels through Indonesia, Nepal and Vietnam, he transforms captured sounds into warm, rhythmic and genre-defying compositions.
Across albums like Java, Puja and most recently Tangkoa II on Unday Records, Sanders balances electronic textures with human instinct and spontaneous collaboration.

sound installations
Sound installations and spatial audio projects form another important part of Dijf Sanders’ artistic practice. Often created together with the collective ZONDERWERK, these works move between music, storytelling, poetry and visual art, transforming exhibitions and public spaces into immersive listening experiences. From museums and installations to live audiovisual performances, the projects explore how sound can reshape the way we experience space, memory and images.

about
Restless creative, gear enthusiast, and producer Dijf Sanders captures sounds from around the globe — grinding, reshaping, and fusing them with modern electronics. Together with longtime collaborator and drummer Simon Segers (Sylvie Kreusch, Black Flower, De Beren Gieren), they push technical boundaries to the max.
The ingenious technical setup of Tangkoa II makes room for a raw, transient and emotional electronic live set where nothing is programmed. Man-machine Segers meets human effect processor Sanders in an unmatched live context that draws from Vietnamese field recordings, Segers’ intuitive drumming and Sanders’ sound machinery.
